and.....she's off folks!

Miss Eloise has been taking a couple steps here & there since mid June but I think it is safe to say that she is officially a walker now taking 7 or 8 steps without crashing at the end 100% of the time!  She is on her feet stepping away & then sitting down to rest before trying again.  She is quite proud of her self, as she should be...walking must be difficult to learn : ) 

Here she is, steady as can be holding her icecream...

Notice how her shirt says "Little Miss Mischief?" I could not have found a more appropriate label for her ; ) I turn around for a second & she is sitting or standing on top of something I was positive she couldn't climb on,  has successfully unrolled the entire roll of toilet paper or is attempting chin ups on the top rack of the dishwasher. It seems like I am constantly redirecting all that energy to things that are safe & not destructive. I love this stage as the exploration really takes off but it definitely means this Mama is a tad busier!
